I have a few questions for you about the repair construction on behalf of the Washington State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP) addressing archeology and historic resources. Could you elaborate on the level of ground disturbance occurring? In particular, how the new concrete slab will be supported? Based on this email the State Department will determine if an archeological survey is necessary for compliance or alternatively an inadvertent discovery process. Please note obtaining approval through the DAHP is a separate process, if an archeological survey is required the DAHP will review approve and/or provide comments requesting more information on the report. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me or Gretchen a State Archeologist cced on this email: Gretchen Kaehler Assistant State Archaeologist, Local Governments Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation Olympia Ph:360-586-3088 Cel l:360-628-2755 Kind Regards, L.
