condemnation for the Joint Use Operations and
Maintenance Facility Project?
Background Information
• May 2021— March 2023: Identified public need to develop a Joint
Operations and Maintenance Facility in order to provide effective
operations and maintenance for the city's public infrastructure
including: facilities, parks, streets, surface waters, and storm drain
syste m s .
• March 2023 — Final Site Selection — Site 1— Expand Existing Facility
to the north. Authorization to pursue purchasing properties.
• June 2023-present
— Appraisals and review appraisals completed.
— Offers and relocation packages presented to all property owners.
— Out of the twelve (12) properties (map on next slide):
• Five (5) under city ownership.
• Three (3) have signed purchase and sale agreements.
• Four (4) without signed purchase and sale agreements.
