I. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Deputy Mayor Kochmar called the special meeting of the Federal Way City Council to order at the
hour of 7:08 p.m.
Deputy Mayor Kochmar excused Mayor McColgan and Councilmember Park's absence.
Councilmember present: Deputy Mayor Linda Kochmar, Councilmembers Jeanne Burbidge, Jack
Dovey, Eric Faison, and Jim Ferrell.
Staff present: City Manager David Moseley, City Attorney Pat Richardson, and City Clerk Chris
Green.
• II. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PRESENTATION /POTENTIAL
ACTION
• Presentation /Retail "Lifestyle" Shopping Centers
• Consideration of Conducting Full Market Analysis and Study for
retail "Lifestyle" Center Development
Deputy Community Development Director /Economic Development Patrick Doherty introduced
Mr. Bob Gibbs of the Gibbs Planning Group. Mr. Gibbs presented information regarding
commercial "lifestyle centers" and their feasibility for the Federal Way City Center.
Mayor McColgan arrived at 8:25 p.m.
The Council concurred to take action on this item at a later date.
III. ADJOURNMENT
There being nothing further to come before the ederal Way Cit Council, Deputy Mayor
Kochmar adjourned the meeting at 8:43 p.m.
