Dear Mr. Sanford:
The City of Federal Way has completed its administrative land use review of the Hampton inn Boundary Line
Adjustment (BLA) application. The Department of Community Development Services received the BLA application
on July 27, 2009, and deemed the application complete August 6, 2009. The Comprehensive Plan and zoning
designation for the subject property is City Center Core (CC-C).
The BLA document depicts the elimination of boundaries between King County tax parcels 092104-9031 and
092104-9185. As shown on therevised drawingprepared by Hansen Surveying dated August 26, 2009, thenew
resulting lot will be 102,212 square feet in size.
The BLA application is conditionally approved based on the following:
CONDITION OF APPRO vAL
Prior to recording of the BLA, the revised BLA shall depict:
■ Removed King County Health Department signature block.
Please submit the signed and notarized mylar based on the corrected Hansen Surveying document along with three
Paper copies ofthe mylar accompanied by the enclosed Resubmittal Information form A check for recording fees,
made payable to "City of Federal Way" must be submitted witlm the signed mylars. The recording fee for none -page
document is $128,00; each additional sheet is $5.00 and an additional receipt and a conformed copy is $lA0 for a
total recording fee of our attention.
The City will have the BLA recorded at King County and will forward a recorded
copy and a receipt to your attention.

This land use decision does not waive compliance with future City of Federal Way codes, policies, and standards

With regard to the City's completeness review of the subject BLA application Lakehaven's comments are as follows. Let
me know if you have any questions or need additional information.
Applicant had completed and submitted to Lakehaven an application for Certificate of Water Availability, and Lakehaven
issued this Certificate on 12/12/07. While the Certificate expired on 12/12/08 as noted on the Certificate, no conditions
noted on the Certificate have significantly (if at all) changed at this time. Additionally, all other applications necessary to
more specifically be able to determine the applicant's requirements for connection to Lakehaven's water and/or sewer
systems to serve the subject property have been submitted to Lakehaven. Applicant will simply need to complete any
necessary water and/or sewer facility construction and subsequently submit applications to Lakehaven for any necessary
water and/or sewer service connections.
