2nd Quarter Meeting
May 9th, 2023 Minutes
4:00 to 5:30 pm
Committee and CoFW Staff Attendance: Margaret Reyhner, Jeromy Benson, Mark Sabol, Dave Heimer, Dan Sternkopf, and Shelley Springer
Call Meeting to Order
Meeting was called to order by Margaret Reyhner on May 9, 2023 at 4:02 pm.
Approval of February 7, 2023 Q1 Meeting Minutes
Mark Sabol approved the minutes, Jeremy seconded the minutes and everyone voted to approve the minutes with no changes.
LMD Renewal Update
First step is complete and the resolution has passed. Second step is a public hearing on June 6th. Everything is moving through the process.
Water Quality Monitoring Data Update
Dan presented the data from last year including information from King County and there are no concerns . The lake continues to look healthy.
Aquatic Vegetation Survey Update/Spray Report
Dan will follow-up with Terry and get a time scheduled for in June for a survey.
Geese Management
Geese have been seen on the lake and Dan will follow-up with USDA for an update.
Status of LMD Assessments, Collections, and Deliquents/Current Financials
No new updates since out last meeting.
Dan responded to KC that the LMD will not be charging interest.
Review LMD Scope, Duration and Assessment Rates
No update.
Questions / Misc / Adjourn
Would like to know what is the estimated 2022 expenditures versus actuals. It will be great information to help with 2023.
Do we need to vote on the work plan? Everyone attending voted to move forward on the work plan.
LMD would like an email 1 week ahead of the meeting and it would include the agenda and past minutes. Shelley will start sending out this information.
