The County and the HTH Housing Operator collaborate with
the local city on the local referral protocols and procedures
for housing assignments, including:
• Identifying local providers and City staff that provide
homeless outreach services.
• Coordinating with street outreach teams to connect
with people living unsheltered in the local community
• Working with local human services partners to review
and prioritize referrals for move -in
• In additional to local referral, refer residents through
King County Regional Homelessness Authority's
Coordinated Entry (CE) system.

What we've done
• 3 public meeting presentations
• 2 site tours for city leadership
• Roundtable discussion with ULMS and City of Federal
Way
• Biweekly coordination with FW Community
Services Manager
What we intend to do
• Housing Operator Meet & Greets, open to the public
• Flyers/doorbelling nearby residents and businesses
• City notice of e-newsletter distribution, website
updates, blog posts, etc.
