RESOLUTION NO. 05-449
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON, SETTING A IJUBLIC
HEARING DATE OF TUESDAY, JULY 19, 2005 FOR
ADOPTION OF A REVISED SIX-YEAR TRANSPORTATION
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AND ARTERIAL STREET
IMPROVEMENT PLAN.
WllEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of Chapters 35.77.010 and 47.26.170 of the RCW,
the City Council of the City of Federal Way must adopt a revised and extended six-year
Transportation Improvement Program ("TIP") and Arterial Street Improvement Plan ("ASIP")
annually; and
WIIEREAS, the City of Federal Way's SEPA Responsible Official reviewed the TIP and
ASIP under the State Environmental Policy Act, RCW 43.21C, and issued a Determination of
Nonsignificance on August 21,2004, and an addendum on June 8, 2005; and
WIIEREAS, a public hearing must be held prior to the adoption of the revised and extended
Six-year Transportation Improvement Program and Arterial Street Improvement Plml;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY,
WASHINGTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Public Hearing. A public hearing shall be held on the 2006-2011 Federal Way
Transportation Improvement Plml and Arterial Street Improvement Plml at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday,
July 19,2005, at the Federal Way City Hall Council Chambers.

Section 2. Severability. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this resolution should be
held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of eompetent jurisdiction, such invalidity or
unconstitutionality shall not affectthe validity or constitutionality of any other section, sentence,
clause or phrase of this resolution.
Section 3. Ratification. Any act consistent with the authority and prior to the effective date of
the resolution is hereby ratified and affirmed.
Section 4. Effective Date. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon passage by the
Federal Way City Council.
