CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Mayor Gintz called the Special/Study Session of the Federal Way City Council to order at the hour
of7:03 p.m.
Councilmembers present: Mayor Ron Gintz, Deputy Mayor Mike Park, Councilmembers Jeanne
Burbidge, Mary Gates, Jack Dovey, Linda Kochmar and Phil Watkins.
Stafl present: City Manager David Moseley, City Attorney Londi Lindell and City Clerk Chris
Green.

EXECUTIVE SESSION
Pending Litigation Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1 )(i)
At 7:04 p.m. Mayor Gintz annolillced Council would recess to executive session. Council returned
to chambers at 7:39 p.m., and Mayor Gintz called the meeting to order. There was no action taken
following the executive session.

1999-2000 PRELIMINARY BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS
Deputy Director Marie Moseley reviewed and responded to questions posed by Councilmembers at
the meeting on November 9, and provided a follow-up memo as informational. Following
presentation of the operating budget and capital funding items, staff responded to a variety of
qucstions by the Council.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Gintz adjourned the Special/Study Session at the hour of 9:30 p.m.
