R330.8.1 Grab bar cross section. Grab barswith a circularcross section shall have an outside diameter of 1 1/4 inches minimum and 2 inches maximum. Grab bars with non circular cross section shall have a cross section dimension of 2 inches maximum and a perimeter dimension of 4 inches minimum and 4 5/8 inches maximum.
