Questions for Council
These questions are intended to obtain the council's inputs for the new Municipal Facility. As
we are beginning the design phase ofthe project, the council's vision and direction on the
overall concept for the facility is critical to the success of the project.
1. What is your overall vision ofthe new facility? How do you feel the new
building can best serve the public? The staff?
2. Keeping in mind that there is no budget for exterior building alterations, are there
any minor exterior changes you would like to have us address?
3. Keeping in mind the preliminary design process with an existing building is like a
big jigsaw puzzle and the pieces may not fit in the ideal locations, which floor do
you feel the council offices and chambers should be located?
4.
Do you have any overall direction for the committee, or any other general
thoughts about the building or the site?
