I. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Mayor McColgan called the special meeting of the Federal Way City Council to order at
6:07 p.m.
Councilmembers present: Mayor Dean McColgan, Deputy Mayor Linda Kochmar and
Councilmembers Jeanne Burbidge, Eric faison, Jim Ferrell and Mike Parle
Staflpresent: City Manager David Moseley, City Attorney Pat Richardson and Interim
City Clerk Jason Suzaka.
II. PUBLIC WORKSHOP ON CITY CENTER OPEN PUBLIC
SPACES
Economic Development Director Patrick Doherty introduced Paris Rutherford of RTKL
and Associates to give a presentation entitled "Public Workshop on City Center Open
Public Spaces." After the presentation, a short survey [Federal Way Open Space Visioning
handout] and question and answer session were held.
III. EXECUTIVE SESSION
Property Acquisition/Pursuant to RCW 42.30.11 O( 1 )(b)
The Council went into executive session at 7: 11 p.m; with an expected time of 30 minutes.
The Council came out of executive session at 7:41p.m.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
There being nothing further to discuss, Mayor McColgan adjourned the special meeting of
the Federal Way City Council at the hour of 7:41p.m.
