Planning Comm MINS 07-09-1997 SUMMARY
Commissioners present: Lu Joslin, Dean Greenough, Peter Morse, and Tim Carr. Commissioners
absent: Robert Vaughan, Todd Suchan, and Diana Noble-Gulliford. Staff present: Deputy
Director Kathy McClung, Assistant City Attorney Bonnie Lindstrom, Contract Planner Don
Largen, and Administrative Assistant E. Tina Piety.
Councilmember Watkins was present before the meeting began and discussed the relationship
between the City Council and the Planning Commission.
Commissioner Joslin called the meeting to order at 8:25 p.m.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
It was m/s/c to approve the minutes of June 18, 1997
AUDIENCE COMMENT
None.
ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT
The Land Use/Transportation Committee will be holding a special study session on the
Nonconformace Code Amendments on July 21, 1997, at 5:30. They have requested that the
commission provide a representative able to answer questions and concerns (all commission
members are welcome to attend). Ms. McClung will call Commissioners Vaughn and Noble-
Gulliford to see if they are available, if not, Commissioner Carr will be the commission’s
representative.
COMMISSION BUSINESS - Wireless Communication Facilities
An updated staff report was provided. Due to the lateness of the meeting, the commission
decided to wait until the Public Hearing to hear the staff’s presentation.
