4. COMMISSION BUSINESS
a. TUNE – The TUNE Acoustic Night is scheduled to take place on April 21, 2006.
Commissioner Wolbert sent a written note about the acts to be performing. They will
include Truce, Aaron Comacho, Zack Arguile, Elliot and Kyle Conrad. She would like
everyone to be at Beamer by 6:00, the show starts at 7pm, entry is $5.00 at the door.
b. Special Events – The Flashlight Egg Hunt went well, with Anthony Hutchinson and
Allison Palumbarit in attendance.
c. Adopt a Family – This event was already completed.
d. Talent Show – This event has been completed.
e. Teen Art Expo – We received 33 entries and they look great, although they keep
falling off the wall. We’ll try another type of adhesive to hold the wiring in place on
the back. Take down is May 31, 3-5pm.
f. Youth Recognition Night – Discussion about the move from the theater into the
conference room at Dumas because of only recognizing 9 applicants. Each
commissioner will introduce and give award to each recipient.
g. Battle of the Bands – Battle of the Bands will be taking place in August.
We have agreed to reserve the courtyard at Beamer High School. We have not
settled on the exact date, but probably early August.
5. NEW BUSINESS
a. Graffiti Cleanup: The graffiti clean up will take place May 19, 9am-1pm at Sacajawea
Middle School. We will do some painting and garbage pick-up. Aaron Moe will coordinate
with Tim Dickinson in Parks for needed equipment and guidance.
b. Youth Commission T-Shirts: It was brought up that the Youth Commission should get
new T-shirts soon. This topic will be discussed at the next TUNE night.
