MINUTES
In attendance: Commission Members: Hayley Johnson, Allison Palumbarit, Kiley Martin, Doris

1. CALL TO ORDER
Commissioner Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:18 p.m.
2. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES
SARAH KIRSCH MOVED, LYNDSEY WILSON SECONDED. A MOTION TO
APPROVE THE DECEMBER 13TH MINUTES AS WRITTEN. MOTION PASSED.
3. PUBLIC COMMENT
a. None
4. COMMISSION BUSINESS
a. TUNE Night (2/16/07) – TUNE Night will be held at Beamer on February 16, 2007.
Commissioner Bernardi brought a list with pending bands for the lineup. We changed the
acoustic theme to a plugged in one. 3 – 6 bands would be ideal for the lineup.
Commissioners will help to find other bands for TUNE night. We need to have the bands
finalized by Monday, February 5. Flyers need to be out by the 7th.
b. All City Talent Show – Changes need to be made to the application date on the
website. March 20th or 21st are potential dates for the Talent Show at the Knutzen
theater. Tryouts would be on March 14th. The applications will be due on March 7th.
Trophies will be made and refreshments will be purchased for donations. This event will
be promoted through newsletters and flyers.
c. Upcoming Special Events – On the Martin Luther King, Jr. event, none of the Youth
Commissioners were able to attend. There might be a Dadd y and Daughter Dance event
on Friday, February 9.
d. New Community Center – The Community Center will be open next month. Our next
official meeting will probably be held there. The grand opening will be on March 10th.
5. NEW BUSINESS
a. Phone-Tree – The phone tree still hasn’t been working.
b. Bonding Night – Another YC Bonding Night is being planned for Saturday, February
10th.
c. Youth Commission Members – Alleh Pac called saying that she did not want to be on
the Youth Commission. Commissioner Four Bear has been voted off the Commission due
to his lack of attendance to the meetings.
