Chief Hwang updated the committee on the partnership that the FWPD has with Suburban King County
Coordinating Council on Gangs (SKCCCG) and there is a new program called Youth LINC that is composed of
representatives from SKCCCG partner agencies. Youth LINC works together to provide coordinated services
and team based case management to the intervention target population, as well as identify additional
prevention and intervention activities needed in the target community.
Ms. Lauritzen shared that the KC Youth Probation office is excited about Youth LINC and working with the
different agencies to help the youth.

B. Survey Subcommittee Update
The survey wasn’t completed due to software issues. The committee reviewed the results they received
when they shared the paper copy of the survey. The feedback was very helpful and changes were made to
the survey as a result. The committee agrees that the survey should be translated in to Spanish, Korean and
Russian.
Dr. Campbell informed the committee that the FWSD has a survey that students in grades 3-12 will
participate in November 2016. Dr. Campbell and Mr. Aguilar will work together to have some of the Youth
Survey questions added to the FWSD and those results will be shared with the committee.
Discussion occurred about the importance of the FWSD being represented at the VPCSC meeting when
scheduling conflicts that prevented Dr. Campbell from attending meetings. Dr. Campbell stated Dr. Danielle
Pfeiffer would attend when she was unable to.
