Federal Way, WA 98003 Subject: FINAL GEOTECHNICAL INSPECTIONS REPORT 1015 S 286'h Place Federal Way, Washington 98003 Permit No. 12-101931-00 TGG Project: 1669 -2 Date: May 24, 2011 The Galli Group performed special inspections for the above project. The project included underpinning a portion of the existing foundation system with small diameter pipe piles or "push piers" installed by RamjackNW. We monitored the installation of the piers to verify that they achieved the required capacity as described in the approved plans and our geotechnical report. The piers were installed at the spacing shown on the attached sketch which corresponds adequately with the spacing described on the plans, allowing room to adjust the piers as needed to deal with cracks in the foundation system and conflicts from utilities. Foundation brackets were attached to the existing foundation in preparation for re- leveling the foundation. All piers were installed to a minimum of at least 24,000 lbs ultimate capacity, exceeding the required 14,000 lbs ultimate capacity specified. One optional pier at the south end of the project was eliminated with the approval of the owner.
