CONDITIONS:
The required setback from property lines for all signs shall be not less than 5' in residential zones and not less than 3' in
all other zones.
Sign base shall be made of solid materials harmonious with the character of the primary structures on the subject
property. There shall be no visible gap between the sign base & finished grade for all monument & pedestal signs, per
FWCC, Sec. 22- 1602(3)(I).
FINAL SIGN INSPECTION IS REQUIRED in order to receive the sign registration sticker. Please call 253- 835 -3050 tp
schedule the inspection.
Monetary penalty of $100 for violation order 00- 105945 -00 must be paid prior to the issuance of this permit.
Signs must be installed and final inspection passed within 60 days of the issuance of this permit, to comply with

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
There are two existing signs for Washington Trucking Association — one on 10th Place
South and one on 336th Street. We are re -doing both signs to bring them up to Federal
Way City sign code. We are adding skirting to the existing sign on 10th Place South. It
will be made of 1" precision board and will be painted with exterior latex to match the
sign body color. This sign will measure 58" from midpoint of grade to the top of the
sign. We are making and installing a new UL listed, internally illuminated sign cabinet
with polycarbonate faces for the second sign, which is on 336th Street. The existing
concrete base, which is 12" high, plus the new sign cabinet, which will be 54" tall, will
total 66" or 5.5' when complete. This will meet the new sign code.
