This system was designed to comply with the 2003 International Residential Code as adopted by Washington State. During the construction the project was modified by installing a small window in the 24' long solid sheathed west wall of the upper floor. Given the building size, dimensions and construction the west wall only requires 4' of sheathed wall starting within 8' of each corner to have adequate strength and bracing. Therefore it is self- evident that the small window added during construction does not impact the safety of the structure.
