According to our records, a building permit was issued on February 22, 2013, for the installation of a
manufactured home. However, it does not appear that we have performed inspections of the work. The
city's obligation is to ensure that this type of work is done in accordance with minimum code requirements,
and permits are issued as a mechanism to schedule inspections as the work progresses and is completed.
Permits are typically valid for 180 days from issuance, by which time progress must be made and an
inspection required. Your permit is due to expire on August 21, 2013. We are therefore requesting that you
complete the work (if it is not already finished) and schedule an inspection of the permit prior to that date.
Enclosed is information about how to use our automated system to arrange inspections at your convenience.
If you are unable to complete the project prior to August 21St, a six -month extension may be granted upon
submittal of a written request explaining why the extension is necessary. That request can be emailed to
permitcenterQcityoffederalwgy com.
Please bear in mind that the manufactured home installation is currently not approved by the city and, should
the permit become invalid, the installation/construction will become illegal. We encourage you to take
advantage of the inspection services that you have already paid for to avoid any potential complications.
