Before work or further inspections can be recommenced on this project, a new permit must be obtained by
submittal of a new permit application. The following will apply to any new submittal:

• You may use your existing drawings; we will retain our copy and they will be available for
copying through Friday, April 14, 2017, if you wish to use them for the submittal process.
Copying by city staff is subject to a nominal fee.
❑x New fees will be required. To complete the inspections on this permit, the current fees are
$720, plus the automation fee ($20.47) and state building code council fee ($4.50).
❑x A separate electrical permit will be required to complete your project.

Your request for extension has been approved. This final extension has been granted until Thursday, June
30, 2016. This is the permit's new expiration date. The work should be finished by this date and a "Final"
inspection requested and approved.
If the permit expires and you wish to continue with the project, a new permit application and drawings will be
required to be submitted for review with full review fees to be paid. These submitted items will be subject to
the 2015 International Residential Code if submitted after July 1, 2016.
Additionally, please bear in mind that the accessory dwelling unit construction is currently not approved by
the city and, should the permits become invalid, the construction will become illegal. We encourage you to
take advantage of the inspection services that you have already paid for to avoid any potential complications.
