Thanks for your message. Couldn't make it in to work yesterday, due to the snow !
Here's that pdf of the letter re: Process I review. Our sense is that the President of the SEIU 775 had a
conversation with Kathy McClung, that's the impression we were given by the Director of Finance and Operations
with SEIU 775. I could verify that if needed. What's included in the letter is the communications that we
(Environmental Works)were directly involved with.

Hopefully this will clear things up and we can get that permit issued. So far sounds like everything else is good to
go. The Owner is anxious to start construction.

Dear Scott:
Per my telephone conversation of October 9, 2006 with Greg Fewins, Deputy Director of
Community Development Services for Federal Way, we are providing this letter describing our
research conducted in an attempt to obtain any of the SEPA information that was submitted with
the original 1987 permit set to build the office building at 3.3615— 1st Way.South in Federal Way.
First, we did a complete search of all the information on file at King County Records regarding this
property and building. There was nothing on file regarding SEPA. Second, we tried to contact the
original architect of the building to see if they might have any SEPA information in their archived
files. That architectural firm no longer exists. Third, we talked with Barbara Heavey, former head
of the Environmental Division at King County.(King County told us that this division no longer
exists) and she referred us back to looking at the files at King County Records. Lastly, we talked
with Barbara Ritchie of the Washington State Department of Ecology. She told us that the
Department of Ecology only keeps Determinations of Non-Significance for 3 years.
Noneof these sources provided any supporting information.
We hope, this suffices for your needs. Please let me know as soon as possible if we can help in
any other way. Thank you very much.
