The previous use of the existing building on parcel #042104-9040 was a restaurant and lounge, and you propose to hold services for the Lighthouse Korean Reformed Church in the vacant building. The property is located in a Community Business(BC)zone, and churches are a permitted use pursuant to Federal Way Revised Code(FWRC) 19.220.130 Churches. As defined in FWRC 19.05.030, a change of use is determined to have occurred when it is found that the general character of the operation has been modified. Based on analysis of the characteristics below and the FWRC,a"change of use"will not occur with your proposed new use.
