Dear, Mr. Zeitler:
Dibble Engineers has reviewed the comment letter provided from Freiheit& Ho Architects, Inc.,
dated September 20, 2013, for the McDonald's Federal Way/Redondo remodel project. Below
are our responses to the structural items,presented in the same numbering as they were in the
plan review letter.
3. Roof/Attic parapet detailing has been revised on sheets S-5 and S-6 to coordinate vent
detailing as required.
13. The freezer/cooler assemblies are proprietary manufactured units. Product strength and
detailing specifications and installation instructions will be provided by the manufacturer or
supplier.
16. Anchor bolt attachment specifications into existing foundations have been provided for the
ABU post bases on sheets S-2.0 and S-2.1 as indicated.
17. Epoxy dowel inspection criteria have been included under item 3. under the Concrete
Construction portion of the Special Inspection table 8/S-1.
18. Post-installed anchor requirements have been explicitly specified as required on sheet S-3.
