Operating Budget Proviso for Southwest King County Regional Day and Hygiene Shelter for the
Homeless
$100,000 GF -S is provided solely for the purpose of planning to develop a regional approach in
southwest King County to provide day and hygiene shelter services to homeless populations in the area;
Such services shall include laundry, showers, restroom, and resource referrals, among others, but would
not include overnight operations;
shall seek to identify appropriate partners and the appropriate service model to meet regional needs;
shall include evaluating establishment of a facility or facilities to provide day and hygiene shelter
services, and;
Working with providers to expand existing services and facilities to provide for day and hygiene shelter
services;
