The site visit was made on April 19, 201.1 when I net with Ms. Kathleen O'Mera, the homeowner, who provided access to the site and supplemental information. Photographs were taken during the site visit and will be maintained in our files with copies made available if requested. DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY The O'Mero residence is located on the west side of 20th Avenue South in. Federal Way, Washington. The subject building is a single story, wood frame structure with overall dimensions of approximately 24' by 58'. The east half of the residence contains two bedrooms, the living rootn, and the garage from south to north. The roof construction consists of composition shingle roofing and roofing felt over plywood sheathing supported on 2x6 rafters that are spaced 24" on center and span from east to west. The rafters extend beyond the outside face of the side wails to form a roof overhang of approximately two feet. At the front entry the rafters extend approximately 6' beyond the exterior wall to create a covered porch in front of the entry door and the living room window immediately north of the entry door., The outer edges of the rafters forming the porch roof are supported by a 4x6 beam on 4x4 posts anchored to the concrete porch slab. The roof framing is supported on wood frame walls consisting of 2x4 studs spaced 16" on center with an interior finish of painted gypsum wallboard (GWB) and an exterior finish consisting of Horizontal bevel siding over building paper and plywood sheathing fastened to the outside face of the wall studs. The exterior walls rest on concrete stem walls and shallow spread footings.
