Mr. Utley,
Per our phone discussions, the following revisions to the floor framing may be made:
• In detail 3/S2.3, the Simpson BA1.81 hanger supporting the floor joists may be
substituted with a Simpson HU7 face mount hanger.
• In detail 2/S2.1, the Simpson ECC66 post cap may be substituted with plywood
gussets on either side, per the following:
o Provide 5/8" plywood gusset on either side of the (N) Glulam floor beam.
o Gusset shall be 12"x12", centered for a 6" overlap for the post and beam.
o 6d nails or' " crown staples at 1" o.c. edge and field
• Please find the attached RFI #1 detail. This detail addresses the lateral load path to
existing foundation at the front wall (window wall with window type 'D'). This detail
should be implemented for this wall line.
These revisions are applicable at the above referenced locations only.

Monitored the epoxying in place of(8)5/8"diameter threaded anchor rod for the remaining Building E.Half
perimeter walls and the(1)mid-building holdowns.The anchors are embedded 7-112'straight down into the
concrete wall footings and placed as per the foundation plan/notes and Holdown Schedule on S1.1_The approved
epoxy used was Simpson Set-XP 22(Expiring 05/0312019). The anchors'bored hole diameters,cleaning and
epoxy application to Simpson directions.
To the best of our knowledge,the items inspected today are in conformance with approved plans and
specifications.
