Inspection Performed: Structural Steel. Job site
Comments:
MTC rep on site as requested to perform structural steel welding inspection for beam to beam and column to beam connections at
vestibule area. Welded connections alone grid line 7 between grid lines A.5-13 and alone grid lines A.5 between grid lines 7-8 were
visually inspected, which consisted of 3/ 16 fillet welds welded one side all around per details on Structural Drawings, and were found to
be in place and in conformance with applicable plans specs. and D k.1 codes.
MTC rep also visually inspected beam to column connections on lower beam at grid points B&7 and A.5&" which consisted of a single
bevel groove weld two 5/16" passes all around and was found to be in place an in conformance with applicable plans specs and D1.1
codes.
Weldees certifications were visually verified and found to be current for all applicable positions.
