Proposed Text Amendments to FWRC 15.15 and FWRC 19.142,
"Flood Damage Prevention":
• Eliminate Chapter 15.15 (it replicates Chapter 19.142);
• Provide additional definitions similar to state regulations;
• Identify exemptions to the floodplain development regulations;
• Identify the need for habitat assessment;
• Identify when mitigation for habitat assessment is necessary; and
• Identify a new section for Coastal High Hazard Areas in floodplain areas.
