First, it provides a safe, well lighted, protective cover for our customers during the fueling process. Second, it presents our strong 76 brand identity. The canopy in combination with the Main Identification sign is the primary mechanism which draws customers into the fueling lanes. Proper placement of the canopy signs and comet graphics is essential in maximizing visibility and maintaining visual standards. Chapter Five overviews the elements of the 76 brand canopy design. Tosco has gone through extensive testing and design to create a canopy which optimizes visual impact and is flexible enough to retrofit various custom canopy structures. Figure 5.1 J�� oo5 �v bo de* 4p�f 5-1 RECEIVED 76 Brand Canopy Image Image Elements 76 Brand Logo Sign The 76 logo internally illuminated canopy sign is the primary visual element on the canopy. Its placement shall be adjacent to the street. A canopy typically has two 76 signs on opposite faces. A third sign may also be used for increased visual impact. Placement of the sign is detailed in figure 5.2. The primary 76 canopy sign is 36" in diameter. Other sizes for smaller canopy fascias include 30", 24", and 17" diameters. On a twin pole MID sign, the ancillary message panel(s) may be installed underneath the 76 logo and above the 3 price module. On a ground mount sign, the ancillary message must be installed underneath the 76 logo. The ancillary message panel has a white italicized helvetica font centered within a 76 reflex blue background. The following ancillary messages are available options with our Tosco sign supplier: Snack Shop Food Mart Diesel #2 Auto Care 24 Hours Car Wash ATM Third party operator names may be used as ancillary names using 76 reflex blue background and italicized helvetica white letters. The 76 logo may not be used as read through for the third party name. Examples of the twin pole and ground mount signs are noted. The 76 Snack Shop is also used on kiosks if underneath a fueling canopy. Consult your Tosco Snack Shop Operations Manual or contact your Tosco Business Manager for further information. 76 Snack Shop Signs The Reflex Blue back -illuminated 76 Snack Shop sign is the primary image element. Several size options are available from Tosco's sign supplier.
