FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS As per the original design, the building west wall shear was to carry 88 Ib/foot. The existing wall was sheeted with T1-11 that was adequate to resist that shear. As understood, the T1-11 was covered with 4'x8'x%2" Hardy sheets. The new condition is acceptable and is well adequate to resist the forces. We have marked the existing wall on the plans as SW41. We apologize for any confusion we have caused and the wall as existed was adequate.
