SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

September 4, 2018 - 5:00 p.m.
1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Mayor Ferrell called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m.
City officials in attendance: Deputy Mayor Susan Honda, Councilmember Lydia Assefa-Dawson,
Councilmember Hoang Tran, Councilmember Mark Koppang, Councilmember Martin Moore and
Councilmember Dini Duclos.
City staff in attendance: City Attorney Ryan Call and City Clerk Stephanie Courtney
Councilmember Jesse Johnson was not in attendance.
2. COMMISSION INTERVIEWS
The City Council interviewed applicants seeking appointment and to the following citizen
commissions:
• Arts Commission (2 applicants)
• Youth Commission (4 applicants)
• Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (2 applicants)
• Ethics Board (1 applicant)
• Diversity Commission (1 applicant)
3. COUNCIL DISCUSSION
4. ADJOURNMENT
There being nothing further on the agenda; Deputy Mayor Honda adjourned the Special Meeting at
6:53 p.m.
