The City of Federal Way Public Works Department recently purchased property from the Towne Square for a street widening project. According to Al Emter, Streets Project Engineer, the new property line cuts diagonally through the existing planter (see enclosed drawings). The new property line is not shown on the submitted plans. 2. The proposed sign must be surrounded by landscaping, per Federal Way City Code section 22-1602(e). Please revise your plans to show the new property line and a minimum three-foot setback from the property line to the proposed sign. Please revise the landscaping plan to show landscaping surrounding the sign. If a parking stall must be removed so that the required landscaping may be installed, then a full site plan showing the following must be submitted: all parking stalls, existing and proposed parking stall count, and uses and square footages of all tenant spaces in the building.
