STAFF REPORTS
Blueberry Farm Sub -committee Meeting Update
Mr. Gerwen distributed notes from the first Blueberry Farm Master Plan meeting. 18 people attended the meeting.
They discussed what they would like to see in the Park and what they do not want to see in the Park. The next
meeting is scheduled for March 21 in the Patrick Maher room. Chair Belvin asked what projects on the list would
be done on Parks Appreciation Day. Mr. Gerwen said that they would work on the bull rail fencing, spreading
woodchips and bark; there will be plenty of projects for the volunteers. He is anticipating 150 volunteers at that site.
There is not funding allocated to this specific project. Funding will come out of the Parks Operations Budget. Some
of the items on the list will need to wait until more funding is available.
