Dear Mr. Walls:
Sifts & Hill Engineers provided structural engineering and calculations for the new canopies on the RST
Plaza project. The original structural design was performed in accordance with the requirements of the
2006 International Building Code. We understand that the permits for the second phase of the project
are about to be submitted. The current building code is the 2009 IBC. We have reviewed our design
and found that it conforms to the requirements of the current 2009 building code.
