This letter presents Kleinfelder, Inc.'s (Kleinfelder's) end of construction report (geotechnical
engineering services) for the referenced project. Kleinfelder performed a geotechnical
engineering study for this site, the results of which are presented in our April 17, 2001
geotechnical report.
Kleinfelder performed geotechnical special inspections between February 2002 and August
2002. These inspections included soil bearing verification, backfill placement and compaction,
observation and monitoring of excavations, and erosion control.
Our inspections indicated that the contractor completed the geotechnical aspects of the project in
accordance with our geotechnical report and the project plans and specifications. The allowable
soil bearing capacity met the design criteria in our geotechnical report.
