Every permit issued shall expire and become null and void if the work authorized by such permit is not commenced and completed within 24 months. The expiration date for this permit is Saturday, November 4, 2006, Spm PST. All extensions shall be requested in writing. You may request an extension via the regular mail or e-mail at buildingofficial@>cityoffederalway.com. The request should include information indicating that circumstances beyond your control have prevented you from taking action on this permit. If approved, one extension may be granted for up to 12 months or a period not exceeding that time remaining within the 12 month period (to June 30, 2007, which is the end of the code cycle). Permits which expire within the code cycle can be renewed for one-half the amount of the original permit fee, or an amount determined by the Building Official, not to exceed one-half the original permit fee. Please note that work shall not continue at any time after expiration of the permit until an extension or a new permit is obtained. However, when a permit expires past the end of the code cycle within which it was approved and issued, it is no longer eligible for such extension. A new, complete permit application and full fees must be submitted to restart the review process on such expired application. The new application date is the date of the new submittal.
