9 Day event ending at noon on Tuesday February 12th.
February 8th was the snowiest single February day since 1962 and 7th most ever recorded.
In total, during February we officially received 10.6 inches of snow at Sea Tac airport making it the 5th snowiest February since 1894 and the most since 1910.

Emergency Purchases
During the event two emergency purchases were made, both related to salt.
In accordance with RCW 35A.40.210, 35.22.620(6), 39.04.280, and the City Purchasing Manual the Mayor may make or authorize emergency procurement of materials ‘when there exists a threat
to public health, welfare, or safety’

Increased followers on the City Facebook page by over 30%
IT created a new Roadway Conditions webpage with images from Safe City Cameras
More traffic through that page than any other on City website with over 5,000 page hits
Increased access to information by the public through press releases, social media and real time updates
Implementation of weathernet system
Mayor appeared on television Monday morning
