Reports how the City utilized Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to:
Provide decent housing;
Provide suitable living environments; and
Create economic opportunities.
Describes the accomplishments for the program year
January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018.

Highlights
Expended $777,398 in CDBG funds.
Leveraged $215,654.
Assisted 487 persons.
The majority of the CDBG funds were used to assist very low- to low-income persons.

Key Accomplishments
Completed twenty-two home repairs with an additional two that have or will complete in 2019.
Eight businesses were created and two expanded.
93 businesses and individuals received technical assistance.
Completed renovation of the single-family home acquired in 2017; the home was purchased at an affordable price by a four-person, low-income family.

Key Accomplishments
Provide 244 persons with disabilities assistance for classes to help them live independently.
Prevent homelessness of 65 individuals.
Provide employment training and placement services to 50 persons resulting in 35 job placements by the end of the program year.
Provide critical care for two infants who were drug-exposed.
