Should City Council authorize SWM to apply for the Ecology FY19-21 Water Quality Capacity Grant and accept the grant should it be awarded?

Background Information
July 2nd, 2019 Ecology announced the availability of funding under the Water Quality Capacity Grant.
Application period closes August 2, 2019.
Awards are $50,000 and are targeted at providing capacity for jurisdictions to implement their permit requirements.

Options Considered
Authorize SWM staff to apply for the Ecology FY19-21 Water Quality Capacity Grant and accept the grant should it be awarded.

The Mayor recommends authorizing staff to apply for the Ecology Water Quality Capacity Grant and accept the grant should it be awarded.
