South of 316th St. 3 4 Existing Uses Parcel A –Single Family House Parcel B – Vacant Parcel C – Vacant Parcel D – Duplex Parcel E - Single Family House Parcel F - Single Family House Parcel G - Vacant 6 Applicant submitted the 60% petition on December 20, 2019 City Council to hold a public hearing on March 17, 2020 to accept/deny the petition If Council approves the request to annex at public hearing, it will move to BRB for review and hearing Petition Annexation Process 7 5 The BRB holds a public hearing after receiving minutes of the Council meeting indicating approval of the annexation City annexes the property by adopting an Ordinance Petition Annexation Process 8 6 Action is a recommendation to annex or not annex Action to: Recommend the zone designation of the area in the Comprehensive Plan; Recommend to require the owners of potential annexed area to assume their proportionate share of City indebtedness Action Tonight 9 7 Sending the proposed annexation to the full Council for vote on annexation.
