Dear Mr. Sammons
This letter summarizes our observations at the subject sites.
A representative of ECI documented a Rock Wall Examination Record for the completed
rockeries in Lots 14 and 15, The Ridge, Division 5. Since we were riot present during the
construction of the rockeries_ our knowledge is limited to the time we were requestedto be •
on-site to observe the completed rockeries.
Lots 14 and 15 are bordered by continuous terraced rockeries constructed eight feet apart.
The rockeries axe eight feet and four feet in height and two hundred (200) feet in length.
The adequately-terraced rockeries are constructed along a native cut.
Based on our site observations, it is our opinion that the rockeries for Lois 14 and 15 have
( been adequately constructed and should provide sufficient protection for the existing slope.
To the hest of our knowledge, the rockeries observed were constructed in conformance with
the standard construction guidelines set by the Associated Rockery Contractors (ARC).
Construction of Lot 52 rockeries has not begun to date. We suggest that the exposed soils
be protected from adverse weather conditions.
