Since the last Council update we have:
•Prepared a Request for Proposals (RFP) from
teams of Architects / Engineers / Real Estate
Professionals
•Advertised the RFP and received responses
•Began reviewing the responses

Request for Proposals –Scope of Work
•Perform a Needs Assessment for sizing and
compare to facilities of other similarly sized Cities
•Develop a site selection criteria and matrix
•Perform a property search for potential locations
•Prepare a draft site layout for all sites
•Prepare a feasibility level cost estimate for all
sites
•Provide a consultant’s recommendation of the
top site based on collected information

Current Status
•Received 12 responses to the RFP from teams
of Engineers/Architects/Real Estate
Professionals
•Began reviewing submitted responses
•Interviews will be scheduled for top 3 on
September 15th or later
•After selection of the top firm, enter the
pricing phase and commencement of the work

Next Steps
•Selection of consultant team
•Selected team will complete the scope of work
and identify feasible parcels

•All of the locations, preliminary site layouts,
cost estimates, and consultant's
recommendation will be presented to Council
•Council will select the preferred alternative
•Timeline for presentation will be early 2021
