Dear Mr. Everett:
The Community Development Department is in receipt of your October 23, 2019, project submittal. Your
proposed project includes subdivision of two parcels into 68 residential lots including, SEPA Environmental
Review, and Process III `Project Approval' for wetland buffer averaging.
NOTICE OF COMPLETE APPLICATION
Please consider this correspondence a formal Letter of Complete Application. Pursuant to Federal Wray Revised
Code (FWRC) 18,35.040, 14.10.020, and 19.15.045, the application is deemed complete as of November 14,
2019. The complete application determination is based on a review of your submittal relative to those
requirements as set forth in FWRC 18.35.020, 14.10.020, and 19.15.040. The submittal requirements are not
intended to determine if an application conforms to the City of Federal Way code; they are used only to
determine if all required materials have been submitted.
NOTICE OF APPLICATION
A Notice of Application (NOA) must be posted on -site and on the city's official notice boards, published in
the Federal bWcy Mirror, and mailed to the owners of properties within 300 feet of each boundary of the subject
property within 14 days of this letter.
On -site notice of the application shall occur in accordance with FWRC 18.35.090(3) et al., as noted below:
e. The applicant is responsible f r the installation of two on -site notice boards at the following locations: at the site
frontage along Pacific,F.lwy .South (SI�99) and at the site frontage along South 304", Street. These signs
must be installed on or before November 29, 2019. The city will prepare two three-foot by
four -foot notice boards, which will be available for pickup by Thursday, November 21, 2019.
Following installation of the notice boards, the applicant is required within five days to sign a
Sign Installation Certficate (enclosed) and return it to the city's Permit Center. Please refer to the
public notice board handout (enclosed) for installation instructions.
0 There is a fee of $40.00 far each notice board, so a total fee of $80.00 must be paid to the Permit Center at the
time the boards are picked up at GO Hall.

• At the time of the SEPA determination and the preliminary plat public hearing, the city will
update notices on the installed public notice boards.
• The applicant is responsible for removal of the public notice boards within seven calendar days
after the final decision of the city on the matter.
