Background Information
City applied for two grants for projects for a
road diet on S 288th Street.
Authorization to submit grants was too late to
incorporate into the annual TIP adopted in June.
At least one and possibly both of these grants
appears that it will be awarded.
Projects must be on TIP to be awarded grants.

•S 288th St: 16th Ave S to 34th Ave S

Options Considered:
1.Approve the resolution setting the public
hearing date for amending the 2021-2026
Transportation Improvement Plan on
November 17, 2020.
2.Do not approve the draft document and
provide direction to staff.

Mayor’s Recommendation
•Approve Option 1 to adopt the resolution to
set the Public Hearing for the revised 2021–
2026 Transportation Improvement Plan and
Arterial Street Improvement Plan to
November 17, 2020.
