2021-2022 Biennial Budget Study Session
Remote Meeting
October 6, 2020 — 5:00 p.m.
1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Mayor Ferrell called the meeting held remotely to order at 5:01 p.m.
City officials in attendance: Mayor Jim Ferrell, Council President Susan Honda, Councilmember Lydia
Assefa-Dawson, Councilmember Greg Baruso, Councilmember Hoang Tran, and Councilmember
Linda Kochmar.
City staff in attendance: City Attorney Ryan Call and City Clerk Stephanie Courtney.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Ferrell led the flag salute.
3. BUDGET PRESENTATIONS
a. Department Presentations:
• Mayor's Office budget was presented by Policy Advisor Bill Vadino.
Councilmember Moore joined the meeting at 5:11 p.m.
• Lodging Tax Advisory/Economic Development budgets were presented by
Economic Development Director Tim Johnson.
O City Council budget was presented by Council President Honda.
Council President Honda and Councilmembers thanked staff for their presentations and
also asked clarifying questions throughout the meeting.
4. CITIZEN COMMENT
No citizen comments were received.

5. ADJOURNMENT
There being nothing further on the agenda; the regular meeting was adjourned at 6:02 p.m.
