Background Information
City applied for two grants for projects for a
road diet on S 288th Street.
Authorization to submit grants was too late to
incorporate into the annual TIP adopted in June
At least one and probably both of these grants
appears that it will be awarded.
Projects must be on TIP to be awarded grants.

•S 288th St: Military Rd S to 34th Ave S
•S 288th St: 16th Ave S to 34th Ave S

Options Considered:
1.Recommend approval of the resolution
adopting the revised 2021–2026
Transportation Improvement Plan and
Arterial Street Improvement Plan.
2.Do not recommend approval of the draft
document and provide direction to staff.

Mayor’s Recommendation
•Forward Option 1 to the November 17, 2020
City Council Public Hearing for approval of the
resolution adopting the revised 2021–2026
Transportation Improvement Plan and Arterial
Street Improvement Plan.
