Dear Bill ,
This letter will confirm our telecon understanding of
yesterday.
1. The Washington State Fisheries Department, Randy Carman,
902 - 2573 , informs us that their jurisdiction ends with
extreme high water which is 14 feet below and 23 feet
back from the end of the tram. Copies of installation
drawings showing this were mailed to him January 18 .
He indicated he did not want to bother sending a letter
since their jurisdiction is common knowledge but did say
he would contact you by phone. Suggest you call him if
you don't hear from him.
LL . Contacted the Corps of Engineers, Jim Green, 764-3495,
and he indicated that their jurisdiction is limited to
navigable waterways (MHHW) . Again, he is too busy to
write a letter and indicated this fact is common
knowledge.
1/3. Three sets of installation drawings photographically
reduced to 24 inches by 36 inches, all approved and
stamped by our professional engineer is being forwarded
to you under separate cover.
4 . Dr Sanchez has been in touch with Dick Bielefeld, the
original soils engineer, and they will meet with you to
reach agreement regarding post monitoring. This matter
is between you and Dr. Sanchez directly , as agreed in
our last meeting, and does not involve us.

Fence, Mike Richardson, 652 - 2293 , and this same
contractor will be performing the required drain work
directly for Dr. Sanchez.
Dr. Sanchez and Mike Richardson will meet with you to
reach agreement on the drainage work to be performed.
This work does not involve us.
At our last meeting, you indicated the permit for the tram
alone would issue upon satisfactory conclusion of the above
points.
