(“Crown Castle”) on behalf of New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC (“AT&T Mobility”) is submitting the attached Eligible Facilities Request application to replace transmission equipment on a telecommunications tower located at 27201 Pacific Hwy. S., Federal Way, WA 98032 in CITY OF FEDERAL WAY, WA (the “Redondo/27201 Pac Hwy MP Tower”). Please note, Crown Castle’s infrastructure and networks are considered Critical Infrastructure by the Department of Homeland Security, so we continue to operate and maintain our portfolio of fiber optic cables, telecommunications towers and small cell networks. With so many working remotely these days, communications networks are being tested. Additional capacity is needed to support not only the increased demand placed by distance learning and work from home scenarios, but also to support emergency personnel and healthcare, which includes telemedicine. Highspeed communications networks are also vital to support current and future economic needs. Now more than ever, our customers and communities are relying on our infrastructure to live, learn and work from home. AT&T Mobility proposes to modify the “Redondo/27201 Pac Hwy MP Tower” as follows: Replace (3) antennas Remove (6) TMA (radios) Install (3) RRH (radios) Replace/upgrade equipment in existing ground cabinets No changes to height or footprint are proposed Itemized list of submittal documents: Narrative (this letter) Eligible Facilities Checklist Elevation Plan Site Plan Section 6409 of the Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012, commonly known as the “Spectrum Act” (Pub. Based on the submittal date of April 7, 2020, 30 days will expire on May 7, 2020; 60 days will expire on June 6, 2020. AT&T Mobility is committed to working cooperatively with all jurisdictions around the country to secure expeditious approval of requests to modify existing personal wireless service facilities.
