Re: File #20-100735-000-00-AD; RESPONSE TO REQUEST
Voice of Hope Church, 1909 South 341st Place, Federal Way
Dear Alex Bogomaz:
I am reviewing the Change of Use permit that you submitted for the Vision of Hope Church (file number 20-100735-
AD). Per Federal Way Revised Code (FWRC) 19.15.025, the application must comply with the Change of Use standards.
In order to accurately evaluate the Change of Use permit, the following need to be submitted:
Updated Site Plan. The existing conditions of the site do not match the submitted materials. There
seems to be additional parking spaces along the southern side of the parcel that are not depicted
on the submitted site plan. Please update the site plan to accurately demonstrate the number of
parking spaces currently available.
Revised Interior Floor Plans. In order to calculate the needed parking spaces for the new use, the
number and size of pews and the number of seats provided is required on the floor plan. Please
revise the floor plan to demonstrate this required information.
Please submit the revised application materials with the enclosed resubmittal form. In an effort to take proactive
measures to protect the health and safety of the Federal Way community, the Department of Community
Development is implementing safety protocols and modifying our services. As a result, the Permit Center is closed
to in-person interactions and submittals. All resubmittals must be submitted electronically. Please visit the city’s
website to request a document upload link for submittals: https://www.cityoffederalway.com/node/4588.
The review of this application will not continue until the required updated documents are submitted. Per FWRC
19.15.050, if an applicant fails to provide additional information to the city within 180 days of being notified by
mail that such information is requested, the application shall be deemed null and void and the city shall have no
duty to process, review, or issue any decisions with respect to such an application.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Chaney Skadsen
