BACKGROUND :
• This Project will construct a traffic signal and new
northbound & southbound left turn lanes at the
intersection of 1 St Ave S & S 328th St.
• The access to the strip mall on the west side of the
intersection will be revised to create afour-leg
intersection .
• Construction is planned for Summer 2015.

Total Shortfall $ 6539400
• Estimated shortfall is due to higher bidding climate & adjustments to
the design to meet current standards.
• Total project costs will be refined and presented to Committee and
Council at the project bid award for further action.
• A possible source for additional funding for this project will be from
the Traffic Impact Fee Fund and the S 320t" St at 20t" Ave S
Intersection Improvements project that was completed last year and
has available ending balance at project completion.
